This effective antioxidant supplement works as an immune booster and strengthens the immune function. It also promises a healthy life with great immunity.
Antioxidants are molecules that fight damage by free radicals, unstable molecules that can harm cellular structures. The body needs a certain balance between free radicals and antioxidants. When this balance is disrupted, it can lead to oxidative stress, which can causes all sorts of negative effects.
Several stress factors and lifestyle habits are known to promote excessive free radical formation and oxidative stress:
  • Air pollution
  • Cigarette smoke
  • Alcohol intake
  • Toxins
  • High blood sugar levels
  • Consuming large amounts of polyunsaturated fatty acids
  • Radiation, including excessive sunbathing
  • Infections by bacteria, fungi or viruses
  • Too little oxygen in the body
  • Too much oxygen in the body
  • Intense and prolonged exercise, which causes tissue damage
  • Antioxidant deficiency

This is a high – potency multiple nutrients formula as a dietary supplement for all consumers. As nutrients in their proper amounts are required for optimum health and since our diets most likely cannot provide all of them, nutritional/health supplements can fill in these gaps. The functions of such nutrients are well known, and each of them plays one or more key roles in maintaining the daily functions basic to health and life itself.
So this supplement is best for all consumers and should not be harmful for health.
This antioxidant supplement consists of Lycopene, which helps body fight physical stress by scavenging free radicals that damage cellular function.
Beta-carotene is useful for healthy skin and mucus membranes, and our immune system.
Manganese, required for stimulating growth of the connective tissue and is also thought to be of importance in brain functioning.
Copper is required in the formation of hemoglobin, red blood cells as well as bones.
Selenium, essential in many metabolic pathway and immune system functioning.
Zinc is used in the growth and maintenance of body tissues.
So this is a booster dose of antioxidants which protects body against physical stress and aids in proper functioning of human body. This combination also helps in age related macular degeneration and supports body's energy needs. So it is very useful for aged people. This combination also helps slow down the aging process, which can have immense effects on your skin health.

About Composition:

Lycopene:
Lycopene is a fat-soluble red pigment produced by plants and some microorganisms. It represents the major carotenoid in tomatoes and is found to a lesser extent in guava, pink grapefruit, watermelon and papaya. In contrast to other carotenoids, this lipophilic acyclic isomer of b-carotene lacks vitamin A activity and, although it represents the most predominant carotenoid in human plasma that is enriched in (very-) low-density lipoprotein fractions.
The antioxidant properties of lycopene are thought to be primarily responsible for its beneficial properties, evidence is accumulating to suggest other mechanisms such as modulation of intercellular gap junction communication, hormonal and immune system and metabolic pathways may also be involved.

Beta-carotene:
Beta-carotene is one of a group of red, orange, and yellow pigments called carotenoids. Beta-carotene and other carotenoids provide approximately 50% of the vitamin A. Beta-carotene, like all carotenoids, is an antioxidant. An antioxidant is a substance that inhibits the oxidation of other molecules; it protects the body from free radicals. Free radicals damage cells through oxidation. Eventually, the damage caused by free radicals can cause several chronic illnesses. Beta-carotene is also in used in malnourished (underfed) women to reduce the chance of death and night blindness during pregnancy, as well as diarrhea and fever after giving birth.

Copper (Copper sulphate):
Copper is a mineral and also needed in relatively small amounts. If large amounts of copper are present, then zinc and vitamin C is reduced in the body. Copper is required in the formation of hemoglobin, red blood cells as well as bones, while it helps with the formation of elastin as well as collagen - making it necessary for wound healing.

Manganese (Manganese Sulphate):
Manganese is one of those humble trace minerals so often overlooked, yet essential to your health. It enables the body to utilize vitamin C, B1, biotin as well as choline. It is used in the manufacture of fat, sex hormones and breast milk in females. It is thought to also help neutralize free radicals as well as being of assistance in preventing diabetes and needed for normal nerve function.

Zinc (As Zinc Sulphate):
Zinc is an essential trace mineral found throughout the body, often in conjunction with protein. Zinc is transported in the blood via the protein albumin, so low albumin levels often mean poor absorption of zinc as well. Zinc is a cofactor used to activate dozens of enzymes in every organ in the body. Bones, the prostate gland in men, and the eyes have the highest concentrations of zinc, but about 60% of total zinc in the body is found in muscle. Among the many roles of zinc, it supports the immune system and helps the body heal wounds.
Zinc can reduce the body's ability to utilize copper, another essential mineral. The ability to interfere with copper makes zinc an important therapy for people with Wilson's disease, a genetic condition that causes copper overload. In healthy individuals, however, this effect is best offset by copper supplementation.

Selenium (As Sodium Selinate):
Selenium is a trace mineral that is essential to good health but required only in small amounts. Selenium is incorporated into proteins to make selenoproteins, which are important antioxidant enzymes. The antioxidant properties of selenoproteins help prevent cellular damage from free radicals. Free radicals are natural by-products of oxygen metabolism that may contribute to the development of chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease. Other selenoproteins help regulate thyroid function and play a role in the immune system.Selenium helps the body with:
  • Making special proteins, called antioxidant enzymes, which play a role in preventing cell damage
  • Helping your body protect you after a vaccination

Side Effects:
The product is possible safe for most adults. There is no disadvantage associated with the product if taken under the recommended usage.
